For months and months, Hannah sat by the side of her sister. Hoping, wishing, and praying.
One day, Hannah watched Hallie's monitor turn blank. She stared and stared at it for what seemed like hours.
Hannah ran out of the room and cried for what seemed like hours. In that moment, life felt like it was never going to get better. But suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder.
Her mother came up to her and said, "Her angel’s got her. She’s going to be okay. We’re going to be okay. You’re going to be okay." And in that moment, Hannah knew that everything was going to be alright.
Hannah realized that everything happens for a reason and that she had to get up everyday and appreciate the most important people in her life. While watching Hallie's monitor turn blank was the worst moment of ther life, it changed her life for the better.
