The disciples were panicked and went to wake Jesus saying, "Lord, save us!" Jesus said, "Why are you afraid, you of little faith?" Jesus stopped the winds and the sea was calm. The disciples were amazed and said, "What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?"
  • Jesus and his apostles were going to cross the river to the other side that night, escaping the crowds. The winds came and waves were beating the boat, making it already swamped. Jesus was already asleep when it started, and the twelve went to wake him. They said, "Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?" Jesus woke and rebuked the wind. There was a dead calm. He said, "Why are you afraid? Have you still no faith?" They said, "Who then is this, that even the wind and sea obey him?"
