- Now it's time to take me to the palace, princess.

- I want to marry you, princess, and spend my life loving you.
- נסיכה הפילה את כדור הזהב שלה לאגם, וצפרדע צצה מהמים. הצפרדע אמרה לנסיכה שהוא יחזיר את הכדור בתמורה לכמה דברים: לאהוב אותו, לתת לו לגור בארמון, לאכול מהצלחת שלה ולישון על המיטה שלה. הנסיכה הסכימה, אך ברגע שהכדור הוחזר, הנסיכה רצה חזרה לארמון והשאירה את הצפרדע מאחור.
- The next day at dinnertime, the frog arrived at the palace. The princess didn’t want to let him in, but her father reminded her of the importance of staying true to your word and not backing out on a promise. The princess let the frog inside and he joined them at the table for dinner. After dinner, the frog slept on a comfortable pillow on the princess’ bed, and as soon as it was daylight, jumped off and departed.
- That second and third nights were the same, but when the princess woke up the following morning, she found a handsome prince at the head of her bed. The prince told the princess that an evil fairy had changed him into a frog, and that the princess had broken the cruel charm by letting him eat and stay with her. The prince told the princess that he wished to marry her, and they lived happily ever after.
