As government we are the custodians of public health and I am here to introduce a new vaccination awareness campaign that aims to educate the public about the importance of vaccination in order to achieve herd immunity. We welcome all recommendations brought forward by our highly trained public health researchers.NGOs will play a pivotal role in this campaigns because community perceptions shape individual practices and this will help policy makers design effective communication strategies aimed to improve and promote vaccine awareness.Implement mass vaccination programmes managed with evidence-based vaccine information and proactive measures to fight misinformation.Thank you !
what contributes to the vaccine hesitency and what can be done to change this perspective ?
Based on our findings ,we have established that majority of our participants had limited knowledge about the importance and benefits of getting vaccinated. We thus made recommendations on the following:* Education and awareness campaigns to promote vaccination.*Engagement with NGO workers and reputable media platforms to debunk myths and disseminate vaccine information to ensure. compliance.* Assign expert groups of healthcare professionals to provide reliabe data to reduce vaccine and distrust among the public.
