- My first time attending church with my mom was so intimidating! It was the summer of my eighth grade year, and the kids my age did not talk to me. I was nervous to start on this new adventure.
- Faith Baptist Church 2008
- After a few months of continuously going to church, I finally made really good friends. We were inseparable. We would get together at least once a week for bible studies and grab food after. I did not know it then, but this would become my core group of friends.
- During Sophomore year of high school, my Youth Pastor thought it would be a great idea to have us experience homelessness in the woods behind our church. This was a group growing experience, but most of the girls were highly unprepared for the cold and dark. I will never forget that night sleeping under the stars. We were more in touch with Jesus than ever before.
- The summer of my Senior year, I went to San Francisco for three months to attend a pre-college program at the Academy of Art. It was an incredible opportunity, however I lost sight of the Proverbs 31 woman I wanted to be.

- Before I went off to attend Pensacola Christian College, I went on a missions trip to Haiti, where we helped the village clean up and paint their school. It was an amazing experience, and it brought me back to God and my friends. My friends and I raised money before we left so we could buy two goats and bless a family for years to come.
- I attended Pensacola Christian College and people from all around the world that shared the same interests. The friends I made during this time have become family. Who knew I could have made it here by stepping through those church doors all those years ago.
