- someone said he was taking drugs
- No i heard that wasn't true
- We shouldn't be talking about it anyway
- Did you hear that Zac was taking drug two.
- A group of kids is standing around talking before school.
- Maybe i shouldn't of gone and told every on that story?
- Group of students talking before school. Peter starts to talk about another student, Zac, he says that Zac was taking drugs and that he had heard from a friend that they saw Zac offer them to other kids. Someone else in the group said he heard that wasn’t true and they shouldn’t be talking about it.
- I shouldn't of said that about Zac.I also didn't follow the 8 commandment.i never thought about it that way.
- At PE class Peter was with another group of his friends and repeated the story he had heard, even though Billy had told him it wasn’t true and told him not to spread the story. Peter What is happening in this slide: Peter thought it was a good story and he didn’t like Zac very much. Zac was popular, smart, and good at sport and he always made Peter feel like he wasn’t as good. Peter did start to think that maybe what he was doing wasn’t very good and it might have bad consequences for Zac.
- Mum i told everyone a lie about Zac
- Well you should go say sorry and get him a gift
- Peter started to think about what if he didn’t spread this lie about Zac and that Zac might become his friend.
- Peter realized that spreading stories about his school friends was not keeping Commandment 8 - “Thou shalt not bear false witness against the neighbor”. He did not think we as breaking a commandment of good by telling stories about Zac but when he thought about it and about the consequences of telling a story that was not true could have on Zac, he realized why God had said not to do this.
- Peter can't get to his mind about what he did so he went and talked to his mum, and she said to apologize.
