Romeo and Juliet
Storyboard Text
- Paris has gone to Juliet's grave to mourn her death. (Paris strews the tomb with flowers) Page is on the lookout to make sure no one knows Paris is visiting Juliet's tomb. Paris then hears Romeo and hides.
- Romeo has arrived at Juliet's grave. Paris thinks Romeo is trying to harm Juliet's grave. Paris says ¨Stop thy unhallowed toil, vile Montague! ¨ Romeo at first rejects Paris's challenge. But Paris says how he will then arrest Romeo. Romeo then says ¨ wilt thou provoke me? Then have at thee, boy!¨Romeo and Paris then battle.
- In the battle, Romeo has killed Paris. Paris´s lastly says¨Oh, I am slain!. If thou be merciful, Open the tomb, lay me with Juliet¨Romeo then realizes who he has just killed, the one Juliet was going to marry. So Romeo agrees and lays Paris inside the tomb near Juliet.
- Looking over Juliet Romeo says ¨death, that hath sucked the honey of thy breath, hath had no power yet upon thy beauty¨ He was in awe of her beauty even though she lay before him ¨dead¨.
- Romeo then drinks the poison. Before drinking the poison Romeo says ¨Here's to my love! After drinking the poison he says, ¨O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss, I die. Romeo then falls down and dies.
- Juliet then slowly awakens.
