Storyboard Text

  • Aeger, your servants are great.
  • What are they talking about?
  • They are telling their great deed, but they haven't said anything good about you.
  • After Balder's death the sea god Aeger held a great feast. One person commented about how great Aeger's servants were. Loki was so full of rage he struck the nearest servant to him so violently, the servant fell dead on the floor.
  • The gods will never make room for you anymore!
  • Why are you all silent?!? Will you find place for me or will you turn me away?
  • A silence fell upon the gods. The gods angrily drove Loki out and shut their doors against him forever. Loki strode off.
  • Loki had strode off for a small distance but came back. Loki maddened by these words strode back into the hall.
  • When Loki heard these words, the fury and hate of a devil were on his face. Loki began to curse the gods. Now that Loki's fury was let loose nothing could stop him.
  • Loki called each god one by one by name and dragged each of their weaknesses into view. Last of all he came to Sif, Thor's wife, and cursed her. Now a low muttering was heard far off and a distant roll of thunder.
  • Then came a blinding flash, and Thor stood in the midst swinging Mjolner, looking as if he would smite the world into fragments. Loki cowered before Thors terrible eyes of fire. Loki walked out of the hall cursing Aeger as he went.
