- While fighting in the revolution hamilton would help George Washington by helping Washington respond and write down Ideas for his letters. This helps Washington communicate to congress.
- After the War Hamilton writes propaganda for making the colonies into 1 nation to convince the other politicians. These were called Federalist papers and because of the Federalist papers, the politicians agreed to make America.
- Hamilton decides to create government bonds to pay off the nation's debt. These bonds are loans of money to the nation, and the nation will return the money later with interest.
- After creating the bonds, Hamilton wanted to create a national currency. This was to stop the instability of having 13 different currencies. It would also to promote trade and a national identity.
- When the French revolution started, people thought it was a good thing. But then it started to become very violent. Jefferson argued to help France and Hamilton argued that America couldn't afford another war. In the end, Washington decided that America would not join the revolution
- Once Hamilton was attacked for a sex scandal, He decides to sacrifice his personal reputation, instead of his political one. Even though his political reputation wasn't harmed it dampened the power of the federalist party.
