- Hi my name is Isabella Jonah. Today I am gonna tell you about when I got my tonsils removed.
- First a nurse took me and my mom to my hospital room and told me to change into the hospital gown
- It's gonna hurt so bad. I am so scared, but I need to be BRAVE.
- Before the surgery I was terrified because my brother had also gotten his tonsils removed and he said that it was going to hurt a lot.
- We had wait 1 whole hour before my surgery started because we came early. During that time my uncle came.
- When it was time for my surgery they took me to my surgery room and I got on the surgery table and the female nurse put a oxygen mask on me that had gas that made me sleep. the female nurse gave me her iPad so I could watch a movie until I fell asleep.
- When I woke up I was in a different room and turns out my sister came when my surgery was over she came before I woke up. I was in so much pain, My whole body felt weak my mouth and throat were hurting so bad. My mom gave me a popsicle to help with the pain then the nurses took me back to my old room. After 45 minutes or so me, my mom, my uncle and sister went home. I went to sleep for a long time after that.
