hey would you like to see something cool
sure
Welcome to my labatory today I'll be showing you the types of chemical reaction.
Precisely!
First we have synthesis reaction is when is two or more reactants combine to form a single product
Oh so would sodium plus chloride making salt be a example?
Next is Decompostion Reaction which is when a compound breaks down into two or more simpler substances
Correct thats basically it we would normally see it in a soda when its fizzling with buubles
okay so it would be a single subatnce breaking down into a more simpler one?
Can you quess what the next one is?
yes it actually a called single displacement reaction in which one element is substituted for another element in a compound
Correct
Does it have to be about displacement?
So it would be like two children plus a dog which equal to the kid and the dog and the girl by herself?
Next we have is Double Displacement reaction a type of chemical reaction in which the reactant ions exchange places to create new products
Well lets say for example that if a penguin top hat and pigs glasses switch with each other?
I still dont get it double displacement doesnt make sense
Oh i get it now
Lastly we have Combustion reaction is a reaction when a substance reacts with oxygen gas it releases energy in the from of light.
An example of combustion reaction would be burning any kind of wood or coal to create a fire
wow that sounds cool
