- I also had a dream: there were 3 cake baskets on my head, and in the uppermost basket there were all sorts of baked food for Pharaoh but the birds were eating it out of the basket on my head
- The 3 baskets are 3 days; within 3 days Pharaoh will lift up your head -from you!- and hang you on a pole; and the birds will eat the flesh from you
- You are restored
- 2 years later....
- The chief baker was also put into jail for upsetting Pharaoh and wanted his dreams interpreted as well
- What is going on?
- On Pharaoh's birthday, he prepared a feast for his servants. He restored the cupbearer but the chief baker was hung just as Joseph interpreted them

- Pharaoh had a dream where there were 7 sleek and fat cows, grazing among the grass. Then 7 other cows, ugly and thin came up out of the Nile River. The 7 ugly and thin cows ate the other 7 sleek and fat cows. Pharaoh woke up
- I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it
- It is not I; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer
- After Pharaoh woke up, he fell asleep again and dreamed another dream. 7 ears of grain, plump and good, were growing on one stalk. Then 7 ears, blighted and thin sprouted after them. Thee thin ears swallowed the 7 plump and full ears
- After the series of dreams, Pharaoh called for all the magicians and wise men of Egypt but no one helped. The cupbearer suggested someone to him and that was Joseph
- Pharaoh had called for Joseph who had shaved himself and changed his clothes to see Pharaoh
