- Cindy told Gus and Jaq to go in her hoodie pocket to comfort her while apologizing.“I’m sorry that I acted so rude the other day. I am just not used to my dad being with other people,” Cindy said nervously. “It’s ok, sweety,” Her stepmother said. “Now I hope you all have fun while I am at work,” Cindy’s Dad said, “Bye, Dad,” Cindy and her stepsisters said. “Bye, honey,” Her Stepmother said. While this happened, Gus found crackers crumbs in Cindy’s pocket and started eating them. “Gross,” Jaq said quietly. “W-hat I-I’m Hungry,” Gus barely managed to get out with the crumbs in his mouth. Then Gus and Jaq heard the door close.“Now, young lady, you are to clean this house,” Stepmother said in a mean voice. “If this is not spotless by the time we get back, I will make to tell your father how disrespectful you were” Gus, Jaq, and Cindy were in shock. Soon they heard the door slam shut. Gus and Jaq saw Cindy's hand coming into the pocket. “What am I going to do?” said Cindy, scared. “I have never cleaned the whole house at once. I am never going to get this done in time.” Gus and Jaq looked at each other. “We got you,” Jaq said. “Don't worry, Cindy,” Gus said.

- *… I'm sitting here, crying in my prom dress. I'd be the prom queen if crying was a contest. Makeup is running down, feelings are all around. How did I get here? I need to know*
- “She’s gone” Gus and Jaq screamed. All of the mice started running out of the hole. “You Lied,” they allshouted.“Guy’s Cindy needs help” Gus said, standing on Cindy’s shoulder. “If you want to keep eating the food, you must help. If Cindy’s dad gets mad at her, she will never be home alone. So, Suzy, take the kitchen, Perla living room, Bert and Mert bathrooms, and Jaq bedrooms. Luke, you take the outside, Cindy will vacuum and mop the house, and I will help with the garbage. Now let's go and hurry. We don't know how long we have. If I say asparagus mice, then you will know they are here.” “That’s a bit weird but ok,” Suzy said. “If you guys help and get this done, then I will make sure you guys get clothes and a lot of food every day,” Cindy said. “OK, Cindy, let's do this,” Jaq said Everyone started to clean the house, and surprisingly they finished in 2 hours. “Thanks, guys,” Cindy said in a tired voice “I will go make snacks”Cindy then started making her way to the kitchen when she heard her stepmother come home.“Asparagus mice!” Cindy yelled
- Cindy was in her room dancing to the radio, playing her favorite song. “What are you doing, Cindy?” Jaq and Gus asked, thinking what she was doing looked fun.“I am getting my dancing skills ready for the Prom.”, Cindy said. Cindy was tall, at least from where Jaq and Gus stood. She had straight blonde hair, and her eyes were blue. Today since it was a Saturday, she was wearing ripped skinny jeans and a baggy sweater. Jaq and Gus never knew the day until they saw Cindy's outfit. “I thought the Prom was at the end of the year,” Gus asked questionably.“It is,” Cindy said. “But you can never be too early.” Cindy heard a car horn coming from outside her window. “Come on, Cindy!” A voice said from outside, “I have to go. Sorry, dad will not be home for an hour, so help yourself to the kitchen like you always do,” Cindy said with a smile. Jaq and Gus then heard a door slam, and the car drove away.

- “Let's go get everyone now that Cindy is gone.” Jaq and Gus ran out of Cindy’s room and hopped onto the staircase rail. They slid down it till they reached the bottom. They jumped off of the railing. Jaq and Gus thought about how beautiful the house was. The walls were a nice dark blue, and the floors were dark brown wood. Right in front of the door, there is a chandelier. Cindy’s dad was wealthy. They had a massive house, and it was in the rich part of Lakewood. They had a pool and a four-car garage. Cindy was 17 and had her own tesla. (Back in the house) Jaq and Gus ran to the kitchen behind the dark steel fridge into a hole in the wall.

- “Guys, Cindy is gone!” Gus said, excited to eat the food in the kitchen. Suzy, Perla, Bert, Mert, and Luke headed out of the mouse hole with Jaq and Gus. “How long will she be gone for.?”Suzy asked. “She said for about an hour, so let's try and hurry up,” Jaq said.“She does not know you guys are here,” Gus added.“Got it,” The gang said. The gang then started to climb the cabinets to get to the food. They wanted to get some cookies, so they had to find a rope to help them get up there. Gus and Jaq decided they would get the rope from the garage since they knew the house the best.

- Jaq and Gus started heading for the garage. On the way there, Gus tripped over the big house mat and fell on his face. “I’m good,” Gus said.“You sure,” Jaq said as he helped Gus up.“Yeah, let's keep going,” Gus said. The two of them started their trip again.They made their way to the garage. They found a rope on the bottom of a shelf. On their way out. They saw a mirror, and for the first time in a couple of years, they saw themselves. Jaq had not seen his reflection since the day their mother was killed.

- “Isn't he beautiful?” Jaq’s Mother asked,“Yes,” Jaq said.“I think I will name him Gus,” Mother said. They then heard a rumble in the distance.“What is that,” Jaq said, worried.“CAT!” Mother screamed, “Get your brother out of here!” “What about you?” Jaq said, crying,“I will be fine,” Mother said, “Run!”Jaq grabbed his brother and ran as fast as he could. As he ran, he heard screams from their mother. He fell to his knees and cried in his baby brother's chest. As he looked down, he saw a puddle that showed his reflection. It shows Jaq's tall and thin body. His light brown fur and tears that were running down his face. “I guess it is just us,” Jaq said, crying.

- From that day on, they searched high and low for a place to stay. Soon they found Cindy's house. Cindy was outside playing with her toys. When she saw them hiding in the bushes, she took them inside and gave them food and clothes. She gave Jaq a red hat and shirt from her old dolls. She gave gus an oversized yellow hat and shirt. “Sorry, it is all I have, Gus,” Cindy said, apologizing.“It’s ok, it is all you have,” Gus said.Years passed, and gus began fitting into his shirt and hat. He began to love food and became a chubby dude.

- “You ok?” Gus asked Jaq in the garage. “Yeah, I'm fine,” Jaq replied.“We better get going,” Gus said.“Yeah,” Jaq replied. They pulled the rope together back. They threw the rope on the top of the cabinet and began going up the rope. Soon they all filled their stomach with cookies. Soon they heard a car pull in. It was Cindy’s dad, and they began hurrying into the mouse hole. Jaq and Gus remembered that they still had the rope out there. They started running for the rope, hoping they would have time to return it to the garage. They pulled very hard and fast and just barely made it. While they hid in the garage waiting for Cindy’s dad to go upstairs. They saw a woman and two girls. The woman had long, straight black hair. She was thin and wore a tight green shirt, a tight black skirt, and black heels. One of the daughters had red hair, while the other had black hair. The redhead was dressed in pink, while the dark-haired one was dressed in yellow. “Welcome home, sweetheart,” Cindy’s father said. “This house is beautiful,” The woman said as she kissed him.

- “Mom, where are our rooms?” The redhead said with an attitude, “Yeah” The second daughter followed. “I will have to figure out the rooms, but for now, you too can stay in the two guest bedrooms,” Cindy’s Father said. “So, are the guest beds our room,” The redhead asked. “They are tiny,” Cindy’s Father said. “I have to clean out some bigger rooms for you girls” Just then, Cindy walked into the house. “HI, dad,” Cindy said. “Who are they” “These are your new step-sisters,” Cindy’s Dad said,“W-W-What,” Cindy said, “I told you I met someone on my trip,” Cindy’s Dad said.“I know, and I was happy for you, but you just met her, and she is already moving in,” Cindy said, confused. “Sweety, we are married,” Cindy’s dad said as the woman showed the ring. Cindy then ran to her room crying. “She is a bit dramatic,” the redheaded stepsister said.

- As they left for the kitchen, the mice started running for Cindy’s room. Once they made it to her room, they saw her crying in her bed. “Are you OK, Cindy?” Gus asked, sounding worried.;“I'm Fine!” Cindy said, mad,“OK,” Jaq said,“HOW COULD HE!” She yelled, “Just run off and marry someone. Just forget about mom and move on!”She then started to cry into her pillow.“Do you want company?” Jaq asked.“Yes,” Cindy answered. Gus and Jaq then leaped onto the bed and curled up on the pillow next to Cindy.
- The mice started running for the back of the fridge, while Juq and Gus ran up Cindy's arm into the pocket. “Hello Stepmother,” Cindy said as she opened the door“House looks horrible,” Stepmother said “Now take this, this, and this, and go put it in the corner.”“What is all this stuff for?” Cindy asked. “It is for our new cat,” Stepmother said as the redhead stepsister appeared with the cat said, “Its name is Lucifer.”“Beautiful,” Cindy said “A cat oh no,” Gus said in cindy’s pocket“He is going to eat us” Jaq added “Now go to bed it is late,” Stepmother said “and tomorrow I want this house cleaned much better than today.”“Ok, Stepmother,” Cindy said as she went upstairs.Cindy closed the door to her bedroom. “What are we going to do!” Gus said with a sqeak in his voice “I don't know, but let’s just try to sleep on it” Cindy said“Ok “ Gus and Jaq replied
- This happened for many months, but one day the cat found the mice.“Ahhhhh RUn!” they all screamed in terror“Run for the hole!” Jaq said screamingThey almost didn't make it, but luckily the hole was too small to fit the cat.“We Need to get rid of that cat!” Suzy said ‘Yeah” Perla replied “Then we will,” Jaq saidThey thought for the day when finally Bert and Mert had an answeron February 30, 2019“We can get a blanket that has many layers so the cat can't scratch through it. We capture it and throw it out the window” Bert said“Everyone got it” Mert asked “Let's go everyone” Jaq said They all ran out of the hole and ran for a blanket, but the cat was in their tracks. Jaq and Gus grabbed the top of the blanket and tripped the cat into it. They all pushed really hard to get it out.They opened the window and pushed the cat out, and grabbed the blanket. The cat ran far, far away.“We did it,” Luke said in joy.“Now, let's go back in the hole before they realize it was us.
- “Since you decided to get rid of your stepmother's cat,” Cindy’s dad said, “You don't get to go to the prom” “B-but I didn't do anything” Cindy said“That's the end of it now” Cindy father “Now go to your room” Cindy ran up the stairs crying. “What am I going to do I have been waiting for this for 4 years now,” Cindy said crying “Ha ha Ha,” The stepdaughter said as they passed Cindy in their prom dresses As the car pulled away with the stepdaughter Cindy’s dad came into the room. “We are going out for dinner,” Cindy’s dad said in disappointment “I thought you would do better than this but I guess I was wrong” He closed the door. As the car pulled away Cindy saw a butterfly fly in through the window.“Ahh, who are you” Cindy screamed as she grabbed a hairspray for a weapon.“I am your fairy godmother,” fairy godmother said “I am here to make all your dreams come true.,” “S-So you can make me a dress to go to the prom,” Cindy asked quickly “Yes, I can” fairy godmother replied “Then that's what I want,” Cindy said “Oh and can you make little suits and dresses for my mice, and a bag for them to go in” “Ok, Bibbity bobbity boo bro”
- and the mice stared spinning magically. Cindy was in a beautiful light blue long dress. It had a slit on her right leg, her hair was slightly curly and she had a braided crown. Suzy and Perla were put into yellow and purple dresses. Suzy was a short cute purple dress with a dark purple ribbon around her waist. Perla was the same but her dress was yellow and had an orange ribbon.All the guys were put into suits Mert was in a black suit with a white tie and Bert was put into a white suit with a black tie. Jaq was in a maroom suit with a red tie, Gus was in a orangesuit with an yellow tie, and luke was put into an olive green suit with a dark green tie. “We look amazing,” Cindy said with enjoyment.
- A limo pulled up in the front to take them to the prom. It was a beautiful black limo with rainbow lights on the bottom. They got in the limo and made there way to the prom. The driver opened the door and Cindy and the mice walked out. “Get on my shoulders guys all of you,” She said with a smile The mice climbed Cindy and sat on her shoulders. They walked into the prom and all eyes were on Cindy. “Wow,” everyone said as Cindy walked past them Cindy made it to the dance floor and saw her two stepsisters hanging out with her old friends. “They are going to notice me, I can't do this,” Cindy said scared “You look amazing how long did it take you,” Her stepsister said as she walked up to her “N-not very long,” Cindy said in confusion Have a good night,” her second stepsister said “You Too” she replied “What just happened,” Cindy said in confusion “I don't know, maybe magic” Gus replied
- “May I have this dance,” A stranger said behind them Cindy turned around. It was the king’s son. Everyone looked at Cindy in shock. “Yes,” Cindy said confidently “But one second I need to put some things down” “Take your time” The prince replied. Cindy walked over to a high table in the back and put the mice on it. She smiled at them and then walked away to go dance with the prince. “Looks like she is happy,” Mert said “It's good for her she deserves it” Bert replied; “May I have this dance,” Gus asked Perla “Yes,” Perla said with a smile “Can I have this dance,” Suzy asked Jaq. He nodded his head and they went to dancing “I guess we are alone” Luke said to Bert and Mert “We have each other” Mert replied as he grabbed Luke and Bert’s hand and danced in a circle
- Years later Cindy and the prince got married. Cindy’s dad found out about how horrible Cindy was treated and got divorced from her stepmother. He married a much better woman who treated Cindy very well. Cindy even ended up calling her mom. We all stayed with Cindy and made our own families. We were given a large part of the grounds where they made a large village for all the mice in town to go. We even made a small little memorial for our mom. The cats were locked out of the castle gates.We all had bad stuff happen to us, but now we truly got our happily ever after
