Conscious lifestyle is the way to go!
Today in school we learnt about reuse, recycle and reduce and I think that is a brilliant idea to follow even at home and in our society.
Plastic that came into our life as a convenience is now an ever increasing problem because it takes over 400 years to disintegrate that means it lies in our planet for years after we are gone. Tillnow nine billion metric tons of plastic have been produced since the 1950’s and10 % has ever been recycled
I was looking at a world map by E02 which gave a plastic pollution rating said that we produced the least plastic in the world (0.1) in the world even though we have the 2nd highest population. In our country we do a lot of recycling and reuse rather than dump.
Look at this right here, do you know that this road in India is made of plastic and these innovative ways to reuse the plastic that has already been generated are here. Cameroon they make boats out of plastic bottles, bricks and homes in Holland and companies like Levis making jeans out of plastic.
If we all lived and made sensible choices and followed the three Rs (REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE) the world would change.
