- My father was telling me about climate change yesterday... I thimk that this has something to do with it. I will tell you more once we get somewhere safe.
- Oh no!! We were just about to enjoy the sunny beach but now it's raining!
- Hey look The Paris climate change agreement has finally been signed!
- What is climate change?
- Climate change is all about our daily lives from the floods in Mumbai, the smog in Delhi last winter to the hurricanes in the U.S. Every single choice we make impacts the global climate.
- How can this be?
- If each family uses two cars then it would burn even more fossil fuels and releases more Nitrous Oxide, Ghazipur landfill where huge amounts of garbage have polluted groundwater and have been releasing methane which is another greenhouse gas. Cutting down trees and burning coal and fossil fuels has added to carbon dioxide levels which is the third greenhouse gas. Do you remember last year when the smog took over our city due to crop burning in Punjab?
- 2016 was the hottest year on the planet in the last 35 years showing that P.P.M levels which are the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere have increased. Our current P.P.M level is 405.7 P.P.M while it should be at the magical number of 305 James Hansen first talked of climate change and P.P.M. Did you know? That 195 countries had signed the Paris agreement but Donald Trump walked right out of it because he does not believe in climate change.
