- "Ivey hurry up, we are going to be late!" Madison shouted . Ivey was searching for her clothes the whole morning. She only had 20 minutes to curl her hair and which she had already burnt her shoulder.
- I wonder if anyone else is going to be late.
- You better make sure you have all your stuff because i'm going to sleep th whole day and I can't bring it to you
- Kim Ivey's mom was a slow driver so she was praying her mother would step on the gas. She also knew how good her competition was this year so she knew she had to be on her A game.

- Hey Ivey remember when you were late to school yesterday?
- As Ivey came in the building she could already hear Jasmine rehearsing her script. They sounded like they had memorized it. But thinking back to old times made her relize she's been reciting poems and doing other things in front of big crowds since she was a kid. In the back of her head she knew she could do this!

- Munch munch, is all they could hear coming from the gym. They finally found Mr.Wright he was eating Chickfla and still in his stripped pj's with matching ugg slippers. He had thought we were supposed to be leaving in an hour. He is always late to everything because he's so forgettable.They rushed his butt up and out the door.

- Thank the Lord the buss knew when to be there or else they wouldn't of had a ride. The drive was 35 minutes the hotels name was Marriott Marquis. It was supposedly super nice with alot of rooms, food court, pool, and a whole mall inside,

- Ivey could smell her winning in the air. She has an A type of personality so she was getting ready to strike on Madison and Jasmine.They better be prepared to lose she was thinking to herself.

- Once they found the room number they sat down to wait for their names to be called. As she was searching for her script it dawned on her she had forgot to place it in her bag. She had a sudden flash back to this morning when her mom said she wouldn't be able to help her is she had forgotten something.
- Ivey was screaming as loud as she could in her head. I knew I should of checked my bag like my mom asked me. She slammed her phone on the ground. She said, I need to be more responsible how am I even going to compete without a script

- As soon as Madison walked out of the judges room. Ivey's mom had texted her the script she practicded that thing about 100 times until they called her name. Ivey Sholar your next, one of them shouted.

- Wow that was great! One of the best ones we've heard today. What was your name again? Ivey and thank you for listening to my speech, she said. All of them had smiles on their faces she was super excited.
- The next morning. Girls hurry up! There coach was rushing everyone which was a first because he's normally the last one up. It was the day of the award ceremony,
- Hold on, said Madison. They literally still had their pj's on. Madison was an on time person who is very organized so this really bothered her.

- They finally got downstairs and Mr.Wright started reading the note on the door. Thank your for coming to HOSA please leave the building. They all starting balling there eyes out all the hard work and dedication they put in the whole year was a waste. Just because he got the wrong time.
- Fundraisers community service and more they had done that year. Raising money and running dances for the school. Everyone was really disappointed.
- When Ivey got home she laid on the road and just cried. She was a dedicated person and loved winning. She thought about what she had even wrote when writing that script and how it had all the things she had accomplished . Being so young and doing all that stuff made her feel a little better.
- Three days later. Ring, Ring, Ring. She picked up the phone. It said, "This is a message from Hosa we wanting to congratulate you on how well you did in your divison we have sent you a little gift of our appreciation.
- She ran downstaris and outside to her mailbox. To open up a letter sent to her by Hosa and this is what it said "You got first your medal will come soon". Tears of joy starting running down her face she was so happy and grateful. She knew her hard work would pay off.
