- The king discusess with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. They cannot come to the conclusion as to why Hamlet is acting.. strange.
- Why is Hamlet acting strange? He is raising suspicions. Maybe it is his love for Ophelia that is leading him to behave oddly.
- We don't know, sir. He was intrested in the acting company, and has asked to perform this evening.
- The King, Polonius, and Ophelia execute their plan to try to.. get to the bottom of why Hamlet is acting so strange. The King and Polonius hide while Ophelia reads a book and speaks with Hamlet
- To be, or not to be.
- Ophelia trys to return the gifts Hamlet gave her, he denies he did. They both feel confused and betrayed. ...
- I have decided to return your gifts.
- Those gifts are not from me. I never loved you.
- Hamlet is suspicious and states "get thee to a nunnery." Hamlet then leaves. ....
- What utter Betrayal!
- Get yourself to a convent at once. Goodbye.

- The king and Polonius discuss what they heard Hamlet say. The King decides he will send Hamlet to England. Polonius advises him to wait to speak with the queen.
