A comic representation of the Water Cycle- By Jillian Gregory
Storyboard Text
Hi, my name is JAG and I am excited to tell you about the Water Cycle, a process that has been around for billions of years. In fact, all life on Earth depends on it.
This critical cycle is responsible for the continuous movement of water above, below and on the Earth as it changes states from liquid to vapor, to ice and back again in a never ending circle that renews and restores all life on earth.
The process in which liquid surface water via heat energy from the sun evaporates into a gas as it rises into the atmosphere
Energy from the sun breaks the bonds on the surface of the ocean water & vapor rises (evaporates) into the cooler atmosphere
EVAPORATION
Transpiration, the transfer of water thru the roots of plants into the leaves also contributes to evaporation
The colder air causes the water vapor collected as condensation droplets in the clouds clouds
Precipitation, is the result of gravity effecting clouds heavy with condensation and Impact with mountains & can fall and collect as rain sleet or snow
