Storyboard Text

  • Camera Angle: Extreme Wide / Long Angle displays the dark and extensive catacombs. With the added mise en scene of the bones, the setting is portrayed to be very dark and suspenseful. In addition, the torch illuminates only part of the scene, adding to the dark feeling of the catacombs. During the scene, only the footsteps can be heard to add to the suspense.
  • Camera Angle: Close Up Close-Up angle displaying the footsteps of Fortunato. During the scene, only footsteps can be heard, adding to the eerie and suspenseful feel of the scene. This close-up angle will emphasize that effect. Additionally, the camera will be moving alongside Fortunato's feet.
  • Camera Angle: Close-Up The close-up demonstrates the darkness of the catacombs and the importance of the torch. In the angle, we can see just how the torch illuminates the setting. During this scene, the camera is moving backwards, as if it is leading the torch.
  • Proceed, herein is the Amontillado. As for Luchresi -
  • Camera Angle: Hollywood Angle gives the audience their first look of Fortunato and Montresor. Gives a full shot of their clothing as well as other physical aspects. The camera is also panning backwards, still capturing the entire scene. Still, no music is played
  • Camera Angle: Eye Level Angle shows what is in front of both Fortunato and Montresor, which is the recess very end of the catacombs. The angle shows the bones which are found around the recess as well the dark and dull atmosphere around the area. Still, no music is played
  • Camera Angle: Eye Level Angle Neutral angle to capture Montresor stating his dialogue. The angle also gives a more clear view of Montresor, showing more of his facial features
