- Calling 911
- Jessica I need you stay still for me please, I'm just taking a look at your foot.
- FIRST AID
- The coach in red preforms streches with the team before the game to prevent any injuries. Jessica is the player on the left with orange hair. And as soon as they finish this stretch the timer starts and the game begins.
- She has a breakage in the distal portion of her foot. Bring her to Francine.
- Jessica was going for the first throw in the game when Lannie (in the blue jersey) collided with her. She then landed on Jessicas foot, causing Jessica to immediately collapse on the ground in pain. The coach then calls the Athetic trainer.
- But what about my season doc.
- I promise we'll get you back in no time!
- The Athletic Trainer (in the light blue scrubs) then checks Jessicas injuries to understand the situation. The AT has noticed that the lower foot portion is nolonger in place. She then begins wrapping Jessicas foot. The schools physican (in the green) confirms that she has broken her foot he then calls for the EMT's to arrive. In the mean time they transport her onto the wheelchair.
- Eddie the EMT (in the blue uniform) and Physican Will then helps Jessica get loaded into the Ambulance to recieve more help. They pick her up and transfer her inside.
- So Jessica you did unfortuanetly break your metatarsal in your foot. Meaning that you will have to be casted.
- She then arrives and is brought straight into the room. Francine in the beige is an orthopaedist. Where she takes Jessica foot and creates a cast to later help Jessicas foot recover. While she does this she explains that she will have to be in the cast for months and then attend physical therapy to regain strength. Jessica is sad due to her season being over but Francine reassures her that next season she can make a come back.
- FIRST AID
- A few months post injury.... Jessica meets with John (red scrubs is the physical therapist) to meet weekly to recover strenthy and moblility within her foot. After 2 months of exercising, stretching, and learning she has learned to completely walk again.
