Today we are going to learn about Self-Assessment and Goal Setting
How can I do that?
We're going to use everything we have learned so far in this unit to help us
How do I get started?
We'll look back at our learning goal for this writing activity, then we'll check over our success criteria. We'll look at the descriptive feedback you received. Finally we'll read over the assessments that your peers wrote and compare it to your self-assessment.
Ok, I'll give it a try.
Remember that your goals should be SMART:SpecificMeasureableAction-OrientedRealisticTimely
To make a good goal, I should think about where am I now in my learning, where am I going, and how I am going to get there.
I'll help you by using exit cards, checklists, feedback logs and learning journals.
These will help me think about, and track, my learning.
To help you reflect on your learning, think about what your learned, any successes and any challenges you experienced, helpful strategies and what you might do different this time.
I feel ready to become an independent learner!
