- umm...
- I was just meant to show him around at school ... keep him company and all. But I was fine if she gave him attention, great even. Less time for her to bully me.
- ...And then Michelle told Cara that her nose was huge! Like honestly!
- right.
- I understand why I'm bullied, and I know it's normal. I'm different to other people.
- I generally don't sleep, but I'm never tired. My family have moved around lots, which makes it hard for me to have friends. No one really wants to be my friend anyway.
- A few years ago, I once was brave enough to bring some people home from school. At the time I didn't realise that our home wasn't normal, that other families didn't roam the streets after dark, or have strange furniture. The people staying over didn't even last the night. I think we moved quite soon after that.
- Shhh! You'll wake someone up!
- LAAAA!
- But despite our gloomy house, night expeditions and clothing colours ... surely I'm normal, right?
