  • I'm going to use this slingshot to shoot a rock at you.
  • Bob was at Joe's house and they decided to go outside. Once they got outside, they decided to use the slingshot to hit each other with rocks.
  • Joe got hit in the face really hard and almost got a concussion. Bob and Joe found out that the slingshot had elasticity, which made the rock shoot at his face. Elasticity is used in the slingshot because the band that is used to shoot the rock goes back to its original form.
  • Why doesn't the ball just float in the sky when I throw it?
  • Joe and Bob were just playing basketball after Joe got hit in the head with a rock earlier. They were just messing around and having fun until Bob started playing really well.
  • Why does my fork stick to this magnet?
  • Bob got fouled by Joe while taking the shot and he fell onto the ground and started sliding. He hurt his knee while he was sliding on the ground and jammed his finger. He learned that when he fell and started sliding, that it was sliding friction because he was sliding on a different surface that eventually stopped him from sliding
  • Bob and Joe were outside playing football and then Joe wondered why the ball fell down to the ground and didn't just stay floating in the sky. Bob told him that it was because of gravity and gravity pulls the football down, towards the center of the Earth.
  • Bob and Joe went back to Joe's house to eat dinner and then Bob drops his fork onto a magnet. He is curious as to why the fork sticks to the magnet. It sticks to the magnet because it is magnetic which means that the magnet attracts the fork.
