- Abrahams descendance
- people start to obey other gods
- god promises Abram and his wife that he would be a father of many descendance. god would make them into a great nation. god would I've them the land. god would bless the whole world through them. Abraham and his wife Sara had a son called lsaac, lsaac had a son called Jacob.
- gods promise to his people
- in Egypt Abrahams great great grandchildren, Isaac and Jacob became strong. Pharaoh becomes scared that they will defeat the Egyptians, so he made them their slaves. The Israelites begin to suffer under the terrible hard work they where given. Then the people cried out to God for help.
- sent to warn the people
- Eventually they got to Gods promised land! But instead of obeying God they turned their backs and began obeying false Gods.
- rebuilding the promise land
- The people asked for a God, so God promised king David that his family will rule forever. One day a king would come and bring a blessing for the whole world. The king would be called Messiah or Christ.
- most of the kings after David rejected god and led all there people in the wrong direction. but god still loved all of his people. he sent prophets to warn the people of that land to turn back to god. otherwise they would be sent out of the promise land. the people didn't listen unfortunately, and enemies start to invade the island and wiped Israel out.
- turn back to god
- eventually, the people start returning gods promise, to the land. they begin the prosses of rebuilding but it was never as good as it was before all of the mess had happened in the worlds. by the end of the old tenement gods people were still waiting for the promise to be fulfilled
