- energy from the sun enters the solar panel placed in the roof of the house
- solar panels contain photovoltaic materials, these materials create electric current when exposed to light. solar panels are made of layers of adhesive clear film but in-front of all that is a layer of glass which is held by an aluminum frame manufacturers put a bunch of solar cells together to create solar panels. *note solar cells are made of silicon.
- solar Energy has been used successfully in many countries but solar power is also used in simple everyday items swell.
- solar power is pollutant free it causes no green house gases to be admitted into the air it will also reduce the dependence of foreign fossil fuels and oil
- bills will also cost much less it is a renewable energy source solar power can be used to power an entire house
- some cons of solar power is that is it a high initial cost of the solar panel. there is no solar power at night so you will need to have a large battery bank. and depending on geological locaion the sizes of the solar panels may vary.
