On the island, their are several people, who seem to have edible flowers! The crew goes on to investigate.
He then sends two men and a runner to find the race of the people, while he stays on the shore with the rest of his crew.

The people of the land are nice, and offer Odysseus' men provisions.
Ten minutes later, the men are still not back, and Odysseus' curiosity get the better of him.
