- JENNA! KIDS!
- It was 1878 - the night after the washburn mill had exploded. It left many people jobless and had killed 18 people. Edward Jones is heading home to tell his poor family the horrible news that he lost his job to nail barrels shut, which reqired little to no skill.
- Have a nice day!
- Edward had arrived home to his small farm house near where he had worked (Washburn), but he didn't see his wife in the door where she usually was.
- When he walked in to see them sleeping, it gave him a sudden urge to keep trying! That was it! He was going to get a brand new job at a brand new flourmill close to Washburn!
- logging.....
- Edward was off! Heading to a mill that was near Washburn, Crown Mill. He knew that it would be a fresh start. and mabye even more pay by working a big machine like a hammer grinder! A hammer grinder is used to crush or shred large pieces of things.
- Edward was crushed! Ge didnt know that 7 other mills had gone down with Washburn in the explosion. Worst of all, his family was barely scraping by as it was, imagine him losing his job... HIS FAMILY WOULD STARVE! (On the ground you see a bag of flour and a steel roller.)
- On his way home he was completey devistated. He didn't know what to do. He knew his family would starve if he didn't come up with something... then he had an idea.
