  • Misunderstanding - Filling the Gap
  • Fracturing / Tension
  • Officer enters and says good morning to staff member.Staff member does not look up or respond.
  • Second Conflict / Incident
  • Officer goes out to day room and sees a colleague; Asks if Staff member seems funny to them. Colleague says she ignored him the other day.Another colleague walks by and said staff member hasn't been talking to anyone. One colleague says last place she worked said she was moody. (Gossiping/reputation/Overt)
  • Escalates
  • Colleagues go out for coffee - not inviting staff member; Staff member sees the others and gets upset she wasn't invited.
  • Crisis Point
  • Staff member then complains to another colleague that others went out and didn't invite her. That colleague then says derogatory comments about that group. Suggests next time they ask for something just don't do it - delete their emails (Sabbotage - Covert)
  • Officer comes and asks staff member to put urgent report boss wants on Objective.; Staff member reluctantly says yes, but as officer leaves, screws up report and puts it in the bin.(Sabotage / Covert)
  • Days later officer asks staff member about report not going on Objective. Staff member says 'you've got hands you do it'. Other staff come out and heated argument from all.
