- Once upon a time, there was a couple who lived near a beautiful garden. But they didn't dare to enter the garden, because it belonged to a powerful witch.
- Hide!!
- When the wife got pregnant, she craved for different kinds of food every day. Once she craved for lettuce from the witch's garden.
- I'll die if I don't eat lettuce today!
- The lettuce in the garden. It looks so green and juicy. I must have it.
- Well, then you can't, have it because I'm not going in that garden. The witch would eat me alive.
- After 3 hours of sobbing, the man gave in, and that night, he crept in the witch's garden. He was caught by the witch.
- P-p-please don't eat me. I'm taking this for my pregnant wife to eat.
- Hmmm... a baby? I'll make a deal with you. I won't kill you, and you can have as much lettuce as you like, but you must give me the baby as soon as it is born.
- WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY GARDEN!!! I'll eat you alive!
- The couple was so terrified and worried, not knowing what to do.
- Oh God please help us we don't want the witch to take our baby away!!!
- I got caught by the witch. Now we have to give our baby to her.
- Don't take my baby!
- OH NO!
- Too late! The deal is done!
- 5 months later, a beautiful baby girl was born to the couple. Immediately, the witch came and snatched the baby from them.
- The witch named the baby Rapunzel and kept in a tall tower. She grew to be a beautiful girl, but most beautiful of all was her long, golden hair.
- Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair.
- The only person she ever saw was the witch. Everyday the witch would call Rapunzel to let down her hair, and the witch used that to climb up the tower.
