Hi. Im Mr. Droplet and in this comic strip im going to show you my process and its complexity .stay with me and get amazed.
So the first thing that happens is evaporation. This occurs when the sun's hot rays heat water and cause it to evaporate. As hot water evaporates, the temperature of the water decreases. When water evaporates, it leaves the hydrosphere and enters the atmosphere.
I've now vanished and am rising through the skies. I'm about to go through condensation and precipitation. This is the process by which vapor transforms into water. Water begins as tiny particles, which then join together to form larger droplets. Because air can no longer hold any more water, these tiny particles are formed. Water then falls as rain.
When it rains or snows, water touches the soil and is absorbed by it. Plants absorb water through their roots and convert it to vapor. This causes water to vaporize and escape into the atmosphere. This is known as transpiration.
Runoff occurs when water is not absorbed by the ground. It runs along the surface of the water to the sea, lakes, or large bodies of water.
If the water is not absorbed by the plants, it does not reach the sea, but instead sinks deep into the earth, increasing the level of the ground water table. It's also a drinkable beverage. If the water evaporates or returns to the sea, the process is repeated. Thank you for watching!
