  • The Photosynthesis Cycle
  • Hi there, I'm Tracey the tree and I'm here to talk to you about my superpower; photosynthesis.
  • You see, I can make my own food to grow really big like my brothers behind me.
  • However, I do need help from a few friends...
  • Sunlight, Carbon Dioxide, Water and Chlorophyll... can you spot them?
  • So, how does my super power work? First, my roots absorb water and minerals transporting them to my leaves.
  • Finally, my other friend Chlorophyll helps me absorb individual photons from the sun.
  • Then, my friend Carbon Dioxide gets into my leaves and oxygen gets out through tiny pores in my leaves called stomata.
  • Thanks for your help everyone, look how much I've grown!
