Othello takes out his anger on Desdamona, because he thinks that she has been sleeping with Cassio.
Desdamona, you whore!! Be damned!
What did I ever do to make you think that I'm unfaithful?
Jackie Mitchell B1Othello IV.2
Othello throws coins at Desdamona as if mocking her for crying. Othello then exits while Emilia rushes in to make sure Desdamona's okay.
There's money for your pains!
Emilia enters the room while Desdamona is in shock, because of what just happened between her and Othello. Desdamona asks for Emilia to put their (Othello and Desdamona's) wedding sheets on her bed and to bring Iago to talk with her.
Desdamona! Is everything ok? What happened?
I'm not sure, please go make my bed with my wedding sheets and go get Iago.
Desdamona! What happened?
Desdamona asks Iago what she should do to make Othello happy again. Iago pretends to act shocked, because he was the one that made Othello think this way. The bell for supper rings and both Emilia and Desdamona exit.
He called her a whore!
Iago, what shall I do to make him love me again?
Iago sees Roderigo again after a very long time, but Roderigo finally confronts Iago about his lies and how he has been using him (Roderigo) for money instead of actually helping him getthrough to Desdamona.
Oh hey Roderigo!
I can't believe that I ever trusted you and for that I am very foolish! I'm done listening to your lies and from now on I will speak to Desdamona myself instead of trying to get her attention through you.
Although Roderigo started to understand how untrustworthy Iago is, Iago comes up with another plan on how Roderigo can make himself known to Desdamona and Roderigo gives in once again. This time, Iago wants Roderigo to kill Cassio.
Don't worry Roderigo! All you have to do is get Cassio out of the picture so that Desdamona can stay and then you can shoot your shot!
