- Characters: Charlie, Steve Brand, Charlie's Wife, Mrs. Brand, Les Goodman, Sally, Tommy (Sally's son), Mrs. Goodman, Pete Van Horn, Other neighbors, and Don Martin
- Exposition Setting: 6:43 pm on Maple Street
- What was that?A meteor? "Electricity is off. Phone won't work.....Radio is gone dead." "They don't want us to leave...they shut everything off."
- Conflict Suddenly there is a a flash and roar and the electricity goes out
- "Hey your car started. Suspicious." "Hey, lets not make this a witch hunt" "Its aliens!" Tommy thinks that there is a alien family on Maple Street
- Rising action
- Charlie shoots the shadow, and the shadow turns out to be Pete Van Horn. The lights start to turn on and off. The whole neighborhood loses control and turns into a angry mob. The mob smashes windows and grabs more weapons .
- Climax
- We finally zoom out and get to see aliens in a spaceship. They've set up this situation to turn humans against each other.
- Falling Action
- "...we'll go from one to the other and let them destroy themselves. One to the other...one to the other...one to the other..." The aliens let mankind destroy itself.
