- On his way home, Myrtle runs out to Tom for rescue. She begs him to save her and take her with him. Tom being vulnerable due to his failed marriage to Daisy, he agrees to take Myrlte

- Myrtle jumps into Tom's car and they drive away. George spots them, calls out to his wife and runs after the car.
- Tom told Myrtle about his failed marriage, not knowing that's exactly what Myrtle has been dreaming and hoping for, all while passing the All-Seeing eyes.
- Gatsby is astound to learn that he is the biological father of Daisy's daughter. Gatsby is finally able to reach his green light and so he offers to marry Daisy, the "eternal love of his life".

- George shows up at Tom's home, demanding to reclaim Myrtle, but she wants nothing to do with him. Tom told George to leave his property, but he refused and instead was shot by Tom.
- George is killed. Myrtle panicked, assuming she would go to jail. Tom reassures her that "his kind" don't do time.Tom and Myrtle runs off.
- No baby, a man of my status don't go to jail. We, can just run off together.
