This is the Knight and he did a really bad thing to this girl in the woods.
He had to go in front of the king and queen. The king said he wanted his wife to give the punishment. She asked the knight what women want and his answer wasn't good enough for her. She sent him on a year long quest to find the answer.
The knight began his journey to ask women what they really want from a man.
He went all around town asking any women he could find what they wanted from a man. All they said was the same answer he gave the queen, flattery.
It was the 365th day of the year and he still didn't the answer that he needed.He started heading back through the town and into the forest.
He was walking through the forest when he noticed a group of young women dancing in the woods. He went over there and they disappeared. The only woman left was an ugly old hag.
The Knight and the old woman went back to the castle where the knight told the queen his final answer.
on the first night of their marriage, the knight was very unhappy because his wife was ugly and old. the old woman gave him an ultimatum. she asked him if he wanted an old ugly wife who would stay loyal to him or a young beautiful wife who would be unfaithful to him.
He let her have the final decision and she choose to be young and beautiful. She now had complete control over the knight and they lived happily ever after
