- The Aztecs had a vision of founding Tenochtitlan where they saw an eagle with a snake in its beak perched atop a cactus and so they did
- The Aztec built their city on an island on Lake Texcoco, it had a system of canals and causeways that supplied the hundreds of thousands of people who live there
- On 1519 Herman Cortez arrived to Mesoamerica, and was taken to see the actual emperor of Tenochtitlan and a big part of Mesoamerica
- When Hernán Cortés met Moctezuma he saw all the amount of gold that Tenochtitlan had. And he made himself the idea that one day all the amount of gold and possession that Tenochtitlan had, will be part of Spain possession
- There were numerous battles, with a lot of dead and blood that made the Aztec lost there last fight called “La noche triste” that made Spain conquered Tenochtitlan renaming it as Nueva España
- On 1810 the Aztec independent themselves from Spain on a last fight that take 11 years, until finally the Aztec Won the fight and rename the city of Nueva España as Mexico
