- I have been having a great time in my core class. I chose to take my foreign language this semester and I love it!
- Christian chose to take one of his core classes now so that he can start his major classes and will take the other core later on.
- My chemistry class wasn't what I expected though. Maybe I will begin to like it.
- Hello class! Today we will be covering buffers and titrations. I hope you are as excited as I am!
- After a few weeks in his chemistry classes Christian realizes that none of this stuff excites him. When he came into college he was so confident but now he is worried that he made the wrong decision.
- I wonder how long he is going to talk. I want to get to my Spanish class.
- Christian goes to his advisor about wanting to switch majors. He is relieved that he found a love for foreign language after his core class and wants to pursue that.
- You wanted to meet with me. What seems to be wrong?
- I just don't think chemistry is the right path for me. I have become really involved in my Spanish class and I want to switch to a Spanish major!
- After switching his major Christian is thankful for UK's CORE structure which helped him discover his true passion. He has really enjoyed all his experiences while on campus.
- I am so happy that UK let me form my own path that allowed me to realize for myself that chemistry wasn't for me
- I think I will take my last 2 core classes next semester so I can get them out of the way.
- Christian has just finished his first semester as a Spanish major and knows he made the right decision. He has also made many new friends who share his passion.
- This semester was amazing! I'm so happy I made the switch.
- I know! I can't wait to see what the rest of school has in store for us!
