Welcome to Bracken lodge in a little village called Croxton Kerrial
Bracken Lodge is registered for 3 young people to live there at a time
The homes manager and staff will be there to make you feel welcome and discuss any worries
you can talk to staff or write it down or you can speak to your social worker or independent person
At Bracken Lodge we like to keep busy with activities such as, football, climbing, horse-riding
we will encourage you to try new things and support you to be the very best you can be!!
The rules at Bracken Lodge at extremely fair and are in place to keep everyone happy and safe
If you are not happy at the home or wish to make a complaint there are complaints forms in the dining room

Every Monday we have a young persons meeting where you can choose what food you would like for the week, plan your activities and talk about anything you want to discuss!
Education can be delivered off site or on site by a tutor depending on what best meets you're needs
we are currently trying to develop a gym/ fitness area as we like to keep active at Bracken we already have a climbing wall outside
I feel worried
we do not tolerate bullying in the home
It is totally ok to feel worried or anxious when you move into a new home but Joy and the staff will make sure that you feel welcome and safe
you can also earn extra money by working with staff to complete tasks that are set for you weekly
you will be given an allowance weekly for pocket money, toiletries, clothing and activities
the young people at Bracken are not allowed in each others bedrooms
staff will talk through the house rules with you when you arrive
Most importantly we want you to have fun, make memories and be the best you that you can be
