- 6 - JACK AT HOUSE FRONT DOOR
- WIDE SHOT - Jack's bedroom. Jack is asleep. Ambient noise from outside. Linger for 3-4 seconds before music begins: "Saturday morning, jumped out of bed ..."
- 7 - CHUCK OPENS DOOR
- MEDIUM SHOT - Jacks sits up straight and throws off covers. We see that he already has on his dress clothes and shoes. TIGHT SHOT - Same, with Jack rising into frame.
- 8 - JACK IS IN DOORWAY
- MEDIUM SHOT - Over shoulder. Jack checks his look and gives himself a thumbs up.
- 9 - JACK ASKS FOR PERMISSION
- MEDIUM SHOT - Jack sitting in vehicle, and struggles to see above the dashboard and reach the pedals. Also looks and realizes he doesn't have keys. TIGHT SHOT - Ignition
- 10 - CHUCK SAYS NO
- WIDE SHOT - Jack races off on bicycle down street. WIDE SHOT - Jack goes from left to right into and out of frame.
- 11 - JACK PROTESTS

- WIDE SHOT - Jack is at front door, seen from behind. (He should look small and the door imposing.) TIGHT SHOT - hand knocking on door.
- 12 - 1ST GUEST CHORUS
- TIGHT SHOT - Chuck opens door and steps slightly outward. Looks left and right. Looks confused. Then looks down slowly. (Camera angle is slightly up)
- MEDIUM SHOT - Reverse view. Chuck is removed from scene and camera is in his place and viewpoint. Slightly down. **pay attention to eye lines!**
- MEDIUM SHOT - Jack lip syncs: "Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life, say yes say yes cuz I need to know. You say I'll never get your blessing til the day I die ... etc." (Grimaces and is frustrated at the end.)
- MEDIUM SHOT - Reverse view. Chuck lip syncs same lines as Jack: "You say I'll never get your blessing til the day I die, tough luck my friend but the the answer is no." ( Leans forward and down toward Jack.)
- MEDIUM SHOT - Jack full in frame, lip syncing: "Why you gotta be so rude? Don't you know I'm human, too? Etc." MEDIUM SHOT - Chuck in foreground, Jack in background. Repeat the lip sync for coverage.

- "Marry that girl - Marry her anyway - Marry that girl - no matter what you say ..." etc.
- 13 - JACK IS DETERMINED
- 14 - DOGS IN FRONT OF CHURCH
- 15 - JACK RUNNING AROUND
- 16 - JACK ASKS AGAIN
- 17 - CHUCK SAYS NO AGAIN

- 18 - 2ND GUEST CHORUS
- MEDIUM SHOT - Jack on street or walking, forward view, lip syncing. "I hate to do this, you leave no choice, can't live without her ... segue into next shot ... "love me or hate me we will be boys, standing at that altar ..."
- 19 - PAT AND JACK - FINAL APPEAL
- WIDE SHOT - If Jack can be with them - ideal. If not, just pups on steps. Would LOVE to have Nelson there! Slight upward angle (as shown) for different composition. Include "outtake" of dogs rushing away from sit/stay and getting snacks.
- 20 - PAT AND JACK - FINAL APPEAL
- MEDIUM SHOT - Jack is running wildly around a yard, ideally with a model plane in his hand, or a sword, holding it above his head. "Or we will run away, to another galaxy you know ... she will go anywhere I go ..."
- 21 - PAT AND JACK - FINAL APPEAL
- MEDIUM SHOT - Jack lip syncs: "Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life, say yes say yes cuz I need to know. You say I'll never get your blessing til the day I die ... etc." (Grimaces and is frustrated at the end.)
- 22 - PAT AND JACK
- MEDIUM SHOT - Reverse view. Chuck lip syncs same lines as Jack: "You say I'll never get your blessing til the day I die, tough luck my friend cuz the the answer is still no." ( Leans forward and head is inch away from Jack's, and points an ominous finger toward him.)
- 23 - 3RD GUEST CHORUS
- "Why you gotta be so rude? Don't you know I'm human, too? ... Marry that girl - Marry her anyway - Marry that girl - no matter what you say ..." etc.
- 24 - FAMILY
- WIDE SHOT - Pat and Jack stand at the door. Pat is holding Jack (if I'm able!) Or he's standing on a stepstool so that he's essentially eye level with me, and Chuck. TIGHT SHOT - both hands knocking at same time
- MEDIUM SHOT - "Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life, say yes say yes cuz I need to know, you say I'll never get your blessing 'til the day I die ..."
- TIGHT SHOT - "Tough luck my friend ... NO STILL MEANS NO!" - Jack pokes me in the head and shouts this, and I grimace with my eyes tightly closed.
- MEDIUM SHOT - Dancing around and being silly and lip syncing: "Why you gotta be so rude? Don't you know I'm human, too?" (Camera movement here - pans, tilts, etc.)
- MIX OF SHOTS - Include derby dancing, **jewelers!**, Idaho grocery-store people, extra footage from all, Tika, doll, etc. Just a mish-mash of very quick cuts.
- WIDE AND MEDIUM SHOTS - Chuck and Deb; Becky, Blaine and Jacob; Jessie; Steines! THEN FADE TO BLACK ...
