- Oh ok I understand bye.
- Should I tell Vanessa about the party tonight?
- Hey Jessica I was just calling to tell you that you are invited to my party tonight at 8pm but don't tell Vanessa because she is not invited.
- Examine the Options
- hmm should I tell Vanessa about the party?
- or should I just go to the party and not tell Vanessa?
- Consider the Outcome
- If I tell Vanessa then maybe I won't go to the party and invite her over. Also if I tell Vanessa Lily would get mad that I told her.
- If I don't tell Vanessa than I could lose her as a friend. Also if I don't tell Vanessa I could go to the party and have fun.
- Identify your Values
- If I tell Vanessa then I would be proud of myself for telling the truth.
- If I don't tell Vanessa and go to the party and have fun with Lily.
- Decide and Act
- Hey Vanessa I was just calling to ask you to come over tonight at 8pm?
- I think I have finally made a decision to tell Vanessa the truth about the party.
- Of course I can come over Jessica see you tonight.
- Hey I invited you over to say that Lily is having a party tonight and she told me not to tell you but I decided that it would be better if I told you the truth and we could just hang out together.
- Evaluate the Decision
- So that is how I knew I made the right choice because we ended up having a lot of fun last night and she even spent the night and I was so happy that I made this choice to tell Vanessa.
- Oh ok thank you for telling me and I would love to stay so lets have some fun so I can get my mind off of this.
