- The three main players on the team consist of Clark, Richie, and myself. Us three were going to have to do something special if we wanted a chance to win the championship. It was going to take everything we had including, our best effort, our best attitude, and our best skills. Clark and Richie aren’t very athletic but I am. Nothing is going to stop us from achieving our final goal. Clark and Howie are pulled from the everyday lives to fill in spots on the team, so we have enough players. Little do they know they will be a major contribution to help us win the championship game. It's the Benchwarmers vs the Jerry’s out here on this beautiful fine afternoon where the sun is shining, and the birds are chirping. It is currently 75 degrees with no wind and no humidity. What a great day for baseball. It is championship day here at this beautiful new field with all kinds of bragging rights on the line. The Benchwarmers are looking for the biggest upset in sports history. What a game this is going to be especially with the new guy on the Benchwarmers, Johnny Roeder. He is supposedly a very good baseball player that has the chance to carry this team to a championship. This team has brought out many fans all from around the area cheering them on. They are fun to watch, and somehow keep winning. People from all over the town have cheered them on all season and even more have come out today as the Benchwarmers look to upset the best team in the league. Their opponent, the Jerry’s, have been dominant this season beating every team by large amounts. The Benchwarmers must stay focused during the game today if they want any chance at winning. Let’s take it down to the field where our good friend is waiting to interview this new guy, Johnny Roeder. The Benchwarmers will be the home team on the scoreboard today with the Jerry’s as the visitors. Johnny Roeder will be on the mound today pitching for the Benchwarmers while Clarke and Richie play the field.
