- the place where jimmy wells and i dined 20 years ago , i still remember the promise we made before we left. i hope that old chap shows up to meet me

- oh officer it is alright i am just here to meet my old chap Jimmy Wells , a fine fella he was the truest the staunchest old chap. Twenty years ago we departed here and made a promise to each other tbat no matter what our position was we would meet here again after twenty years.
- if he is alive somewhere he will come at exactly 10 pm .
