From the Cherokee nation’s perspective, no matter how much money they were given they could not gain back to the land that gave them a spiritual connection to their ancestors and because they were used to living on their spiritual lands life on the reservations didn’t provide for their survival needs. From the perspective of the United States, they had gotten rid of all of their distractions and they could now focus on exploring the land and expanding their settlements.

From the Mexicans perspective, this was a significant war because it showed them just how powerful the United States was and that Mexico as a nation was in bad shape. From the United States perspective, this war did not only increase their power as a nation but they have also shown to their neighbors how strong they are and this would give them confidence if they ever went to war with Mexico again.

For The United States, this is significant because the united states rejoiced in this long wanted accomplishment and, this showed that the British feared the states in their own way. From the perspective of the British, they did not want to go to war over a small piece of land when they still had a lot considering what happened the last time.

From the perspective of the United states, the land that covered Fort Laramie treaty was now special and it had to be taken hostage for they felt that they could use the land at its full potential. From the Mexican's perspective, the Americans took away there spiritual connection to there ancestors and there common way of life.
