- The Earth contains plants and animals, like humans! The Earth has different habitats and ecosystems based on the surrounding characteristics. We need plants and animals because they're our food. Plants also give us oxygen so we can breathe. Without these plants and animals, we wouldn't live. We all need each other to survive! This is what you need to know about biodiversity.
- Natural resources have a big impact on our lives and our environment. Natural resources provide almost everything we need to survive. More in detail, natural resources provide land, water, heat, food, light, and even power. Some natural resources include things like water, minerals, oil, air, soil, coal, fuel, wind, land, and plants. These are only SOME examples. Many things are natural resources. Even these cows!

- Environmental sustainability is the most important. This is because it can make or break the environment and natural resource extraction. We have to protect where we live! Cultural sustainability focuses on the ability to retain or improve values and beliefs.
- Human sustainability is very important. The four principles of sustainability are social, economic, environmental, and cultural sustainability. Social sustainability is focused to preserve social interactions and investments. After all, being social is the framework of our society! If social sustainability focuses on improving social equality, economic sustainability focuses on the standard of living.
