This is a storyboard of shays rebellion and what led up to it.

  • You need to pay your debt! If you can't, we will have to take your land.
  • Beans
  • I don't have the money for these outrageous taxes
  • Cotton
  • I wish I didn't have this job ... its just so sad.
  • I'm sorry but we need to sell it in order to pay off debt.
  • Don't let them take our chickens !
  • Us farmers need to do something about these taxes.
  • I agree, maybe we could protest.
  • This is a farm where a farmer is being forced to pay heavy taxes. This is how it began...
  • Why are we being taxed the so much!
  • This government is to weak, it can't even collect taxes.
  • These taxes are to harsh, we demand debt relief.
  • This farmer is selling a chicken in order to pay his debt. His daughter becomes upset at the sight of seeing the chicken sold off. The solder sympathizes with them.
  • Disperse! Please disperse!
  • If you do not leave immediately, you WILL be arrested!
  • Gaarrrr! We won't be intimidated!
  • We want debt relief! We can't pay these heavy taxes!
  • Tension are rising. These two farmers are talking of starting a protest. They don't like the overly high taxes.
  • They may have stopped us regulators, but they can't stop our movement.
  • Yes, the people shall continue the fight we started.
  • A protest has begun around a court house. The farmers are protesting the taxes.
  • These farmers have now begun rebelling. They are now heading for an armory. The state sends in the military in order to stop them. A confrontation begins. 
  • These two farmers are some of the ones that escaped being arrested after the rebellion was crushed. They believe the people will continue the fight that they started, and they do.
