- I've been incredibly interested in science.
- Did you realize that our respiratory system enables us to communicate?
- wow! I had no idea, please tell me more.
- The respiratory system also obtains oxygen from the atmosphere and distributes it to the circulatory system.
- it also releases carbon dioxide waste from cells
- wow!!!!
- Let me now teach you a little bit more about the respiratory system. It consists of the nose, mouth, trachea, bronchus, lungs, diaphragm, and alveolar sac.
- The nose and mouth warm, filter, and moisten the air, which is a good question. The trachea transports air from the larynx to the lungs. The bronchus is a tube that connects the trachea to each lung.
- So, what exactly do all of those sections do for the body?
- Finally, there are the alveoli, which are where CO2 is exchanged for oxygen.
- The lungs are a sponge-like organ responsible for gas exchange, and the diaphragm is a dome-shaped structure under the lungs that expands and contacts to let air in and out.
