- I like James Clerk Maxwell, he showed that a few relatively simple mathematical equations could express the behavior of electric and magnetic fields and their interrelted nature; that is, an oscillating electruc change produces an em field.
- Who is your favorite proponents of em waves theory?
- Oh. mine's Hans Christian Oersted because he was the one who discovered that electricity and magnetism are linked. How about you guys?
- Great! Mine is Heinrich Rudolf Hertz. he proved that electricity can be transmitted in electromagnetic waves, which travel at the speed of light and which possess many other properties of light.

- Oh, hi! We were talking about our proponents of em waves theory. Do you have your favorite?
- I have! I like Andre Marie Ampere , he made the revolutionary discovery that a wire carrying electric current can attract or repel another wire next to it that's also carrying electric current, he then went on to formulate Ampere's law of em and produced the best definition of electric current of his time.
- My personal favorite is Michael Faraday; he discovered the phenomenon known as em induction by observing that a current flows in a wire that is moved through magnetic fiield in 1831.
