Storyboard Text
Good Morning Tracy thanks for having me over I just became a new dad and I have questions
Good morning Fred and what questions do you have
I wanted to know how you develop your child"s language.
You have to know every child learns at their own pace but I'll give you a little insight.
Ahhh okay tell me more.
The first form is when a child cries when they are hungry, sleepy, or in pain.
When babies start to age they can start to sort out the language their caregivers speak.
So would talking to them more and reading to them help them out?
EXACTLY looks like you're getting the hang of this.
So the more I interact with them makes a difference on them learning?
Yes it makes a huge difference Fred so make sure you read to them everyday and talk to them.
So what can I be expecting in the first few months?
Your baby should start cooing and babbling which means they are trying to speak.
So what to expect from them when they are 1-2 years old?
You should expect them to answer simple questions and follow simple commands.
What about when they are 3-4 years old?
Ok Ok One last question before I go.
They should be talking to you about their daily activities.
Last question. What to expect from them when they are 4-5 years old?
You should be expecting them to use adult grammar and communicate more easily.
Thank you so much for helping me now I know what to expect from my child.
