  • Good Morning Tracy thanks for having me over I just became a new dad and I have questions
  • Good morning Fred and what questions do you have
  • I wanted to know how you develop your child"s language.
  • You have to know every child learns at their own pace but I'll give you a little insight.
  • Ahhh okay tell me more.
  • The first form is when a child cries when they are hungry, sleepy, or in pain.
  • When babies start to age they can start to sort out the language their caregivers speak.
  • So would talking to them more and reading to them help them out?
  • EXACTLY looks like you're getting the hang of this.
  • So the more I interact with them makes a difference on them learning?
  • Yes it makes a huge difference Fred so make sure you read to them everyday and talk to them.
  • So what can I be expecting in the first few months?
  • Your baby should start cooing and babbling which means they are trying to speak.
  • So what to expect from them when they are 1-2 years old?
  • You should expect them to answer simple questions and follow simple commands.
  • What about when they are 3-4 years old?
  • Ok Ok One last question before I go.
  • They should be talking to you about their daily activities.
  • Last question. What to expect from them when they are 4-5 years old?
  • You should be expecting them to use adult grammar and communicate more easily.
  • Thank you so much for helping me now I know what to expect from my child.
