  • Good Morning. You must be Mr.Odell. I'm Miss. Susan Price, your new neighbor.
  • You seem very nice, but take my advice and leave me alone.
  • It had been a year since Mr.Odell's wife and their only child had passed away in a car accident. Mr.Odell was at work when his wife took their son to the park. There was a car speeding in the same lane as his wife and they collided causing his wife, their son, and the lady in the speeding car to die.
  • Climax
  • Don't worry. This will be fun.
  • I sure hope so.
  • Mr.Odell sits in his living room wishing he had the company of his two most favorite people in the world. In the days past, he lost hope and decided that there was nothing in the world left for him.
  • Falling Action
  • The next day, Mr.Odell went outside to get his mail when a young lady walked up to him. After she introduced herself as Miss Price, his new neighbor , Mr.Odell said a mean comment and walked back into his house.
  • Resolution
  • Well isn't it just a beautiful morning today.
  • It was another day of misery for Mr.Odell and he couldn't take it anymore. He decided that his life had no more purpose in the world. He was about to end his life when he heard a knock at the door. It was Miss price asking him if he would like to go play tennis. Surprisingly Mr.Odell agreed.
  • After one game of tennis, Mr.Odell realized he was smiling, laughing, and having fun for the first time since last year. They continued playing until they both were worn out. Mr.Odell thanked Miss Price for taking him and they both went home.
  • After that day of tennis, Mr.Odell is now nice and amicable to everyone once again. That mean and grumpy side of him never came out again. He and Miss Price even made playing tennis an event every Saturday. Mr.Odell lives the rest of his life with joy and looking forward to the next days to come.
  • Why yes it is.
