- Mrs. Johnstone, a mother of 7 living in poverty sings a song about her life before receiving some life changing news.

- She gives birth to Mickey and Edward but gives Edward to the woman she works for Mrs. Johnstone without anyone knowing and tells her if they realise they are brothers, they both will die.
